I bought my truck in May and by June most of the work you see here was done.  The truck currently sits with a 6″ lift, 3″ suspension, and 3″ body.  The suspension lift started with Sway-a-Way RaceRunner 2 ½ inch front bolt-in coil overs and rear shocks with blocks.  For the upper control arms out front I went with the Total Chaos kit that has stock length 4130 chromoly a-arms that have been powder and clear coated.

Wanting to be able to fit a 35″ tall tire I needed to add a few more inches to the height of the truck.  A body lift went in next to get the six-inch lift I was looking for. Toyo Tire Open Country MTs were the next items ordered – 35″ tall and 12.5″ wide on an 18″ rim. And yes, I have a full-size spare.  For rims, Gear Alloy 711 wheels modified in gloss black were just what I was looking for.

With the truck being on the taller side and my wife pregnant at the time, I had to get some steps to help her get in and out. N-Fab Wheel to Wheel Nerf steps got installed in the driveway in under an hour.  The next two installs happened back to back: Line-X spray-in bed liner one day and the tonneau cover were next.

This is how the truck has sat for just about three years now and the itch has returned!  Stay tuned for the addition of some performance parts, rear end gears, and who knows what else.
