GREG ADLER STORMS INTO MIDWEST FOR LUCAS OIL OFF ROAD FREE-FOR-ALL

Compton, California (July 19, 2017) – The West Coast style of short course off road racing makes its Midwest debut when Greg Adler and the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series storm into Wheatland, Missouri this weekend for Rounds 7&8 of series competition. While it has been nearly a decade since the sport last visited Wheatland’s Lucas Oil Speedway, July 22-23 will mark the long awaited return of short course off-road racing to the facility which has also played host to professional drag boat and dirt track racing.

Robby Gordon is Dakar Rally 2015’s Final Stage Victor

After more than 5,600 relentless miles over 13 days – 48 hours of adrenaline-laced racing – Robby Gordon took first place in Stage 13 of the 37th Dakar Rally in Buenos Aires on Saturday. This is his 10th career stage victory, making him the most accomplished American driver in the history of the rally.

Robby Gordon Crashes, Finishes 3 Minutes Behind Stage Victor – Dakar Stage 11

In Stage 11 of the 2015 Dakar Rally yesterday, Team 4 Wheel Parts driver Robby Gordon crashed into an embankment at 100 mph, launching the car through the air in a spin – then landed on all four tires, took off again and shot through the finish in 13th place: three minutes and 11 seconds behind the first place stage victor. Two stages remain in the world’s most formidable off-road race and America’s only competitor has moved up into a top 20 overall standing.

Attrition Rate Hits 50% as Gordon Holds Top 20 Position – Dakar Stage 10

Stage 10 of the 2015 Dakar Rally made good on its promise for an extreme competition and then some yesterday, with Team 4 Wheel Parts driver Robby Gordon and the 70 other Rally survivors at the starting line to begin the 534-mile battle for the top time. Just 18 minutes and 32 seconds off the pace set by the Stage 10 winner, Gordon and the team finished in 21st place, putting his overall Rally standing at 20th.

Gordon Fights Back into Top Ten – Dakar Stage 9

Team 4 Wheel Parts driver Robby Gordon, Dakar Rally 2015’s only American competitor, achieved his fourth top-ten finish of the 13-stage competition at Stage 9 of the Rally yesterday. Monday’s rest day in Iquique, Chile gave Gordon and the team a chance to tune up the #308 TRAXXAS/Toyo Tire truck so it could come back Tuesday in top shape after an oil pressure issue on Sunday. Gordon and team navigator Johnny Campbell successfully took the car from its top-20 starting position into a 9th place finish just 35 minutes behind the first place victor.
