I currently own 2 Jeeps.

One is the pink (used to be green) rock crawling competition Jeep. It was originally a 1997 TJ Wrangler SE. The only part on it that is original is the frame. The body tub has been swapped from a 2000 TJ, the grille is an aftermarket piece from Crown Automotive, and the engine is a 4.3L Vortec out of a 2003 GM truck. This thing is a driving billboard for parts available through 4Wheel Drive Hardware. Here is a list of parts you can find on this rig:

This rig has been through hell and back. It has been rolled over and flipped more times than I can count. But it bounces right back for more! There are so many good products on this rig, it’s hard to narrow it down to one product that I love more than the others. We’re ready for another year of competition, or close to being ready. Check out our Crawl to Cure Cancer website for a list of shows and events we will be attending with this rig.

2005 TJ Wrangler

My second Jeep is currently my daily driver. I bought it wrecked in August of 2008. All it needed was a hood and windshield glass. It’s a 2005 TJ Wrangler. It came with a Dana 44 rear axle, so I was lucky on this one. When I first bought this, I swore I wasn’t going to lift it and I was going to keep it stock. Yeah, that only lasted just over a year. In December of 2009, we installed a 4” Full Traction lift kit with the PUREJEEP Stealth Stretch kit in the rear. The stretch kit moves the rear axle back 5”. This Jeep is sitting on 35” Dick Cepek Mud Country Tires and 15×8 limited edition Mickey Thompson flat black wheels. It has a Hanson Off Road Front 52” stubby bumper with the fender bar and a Smittybilt XRC8 comp series winch, PUREJEEP Renegade Flat fenders, PUREJEEP rock sliders and Hanson Off Road rear bumper and tire carrier.

I only plan to go wheeling with this one when the competition rig is not available. I just took this one to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari. It did pretty well out there. Not bad for just finishing the lift kit and testing everything out.
