Exhaust mods are usually near the top of the performance modifications list – and for some good reason.  A good exhaust will deliver more power, usually better fuel economy, very often a longer service life and, of course, that throaty rumble that’s music to the ears of a performance enthusiast. With 4 Wheel Parts going all out to build the perfect 2011 JK for its 50th Anniversary Giveaway, performance mods were high on the list and they went with an all out exhaust system – Magnaflow.

Adam Pratt, 4WD’s Call Center Supervisor, took on the job of installing the system. Like many at 4WD, he has a lot of Jeep wrenching experience. Besides, most cat-back systems are reasonably easy to install and a Magnaflow system is even easier because they are known to fit exceptionally well. It took about 30 minutes on a hoist, from disconnecting the battery to polishing the tip. No issues at all in the installation.
