Compton, California (August 22, 2017) –  Greg Adler heads out to the Wild West of Reno, Nevada this weekend, August 26-27, for Rounds 9&10 of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series competition. The 1.5-mile battlefield carved into the hillsides of the Wild West Motorsports Park,

with its undulations, extreme elevation changes and massive drop-offs has developed a reputation as one of the most volatile and unpredictable tracks on the National Lucas Oil Off Road circuit. Now with just five rounds of racing left on the schedule, Adler arrives to Reno looking to conquer the most challenging mountain in short course off road racing.

“When you first see the Reno track, you immediately notice is how big it really is,” said Adler. “You have these massive jumps and one of the fastest straightaways we race on and then before you know it, you are climbing up a sheer rock ledge. It’s already an adventure but when you’re racing against 15 guys who are fighting for the same piece of real estate, it adds a whole different level of excitement.”

For the Team 4 Wheel Parts veteran crew including Crew Chief, Mike Seat and Car Chief, Dylan Cochran, Reno presents the opportunity for the team to right the ship after July’s disappointing visit to Wheatland, Missouri.

“To go to Wheatland and know that we were fast and didn’t come away with any hardware was a disappointment,” said Adler. “We’ve gotten caught up in a few situations where it ended our race by no fault of our own, but it happened.  We’ve had some great racing in Reno but we’ve also witnessed some spectacular wrecks. Just last year we were headed towards the podium and found ourselves taken out late in the race. We’re going to stay focused on running our race, staying out of trouble and hopefully we’ve done everything to put ourselves in podium position when the checkered flag drops.”

In addition to this weekend’s event in Reno, NV. the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series visits San Bernardino, CA. before returning to Chandler, AZ. for the season finale and the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup.

For fans that won’t be at Lucas Oil Speedway this weekend to catch the action live, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is broadcasted on CBS, CBS Sports Network, MavTV and LucasOilRacing.TV.
