Compton, California (April 19, 2017) –  This weekend Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts return to the short course off road racing arena as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series kicks off the year with its season opener just outside of Phoenix in Chandler, Arizona. After an “offseason” that included completing the King of the Hammers endurance race and taking the 4400 Class title in the Mint 400 desert race, Adler and the team are now set to embark on the season quest for a coveted title in the series’ marquee Pro4 division.

Adler’s veteran team, led by Crew Chief, Mike Seat, utilized the winter months to prepare for this season by virtually rebuilding and then fine tuning the 900-HP purpose built off-road race machine. Now with a full season competing in his new truck under his belt, Adler enters the highly anticipated season opener at Chandler’s Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park with renewed expectations for fourteen round race season.

“It’s time to go racing,” said an enthusiastic Adler. “After a year with this truck and picking up a couple of podiums last season, we know that we have the speed and the capability to run at the front. We’ve had some success this year in the desert and had some strong tests with the truck and I’ve felt really good behind the wheel. Now it’s time to take that momentum into Chandler and come away with a podium.”

For the Arizona State University alumnus, the return to the Valley of the Sun is especially meaningful as Adler and the team are joined at the event by a throng of supporters eager to witness Adler taking on the sport’s elite as they bang door to door on the high flying track.

“It’s always special when you can spend time with close friends,” said Adler “But it’s a great opportunity for me to be out here where I had some amazing years and share this with them. There’s nothing like short course off-road racing and with a packed house, television cameras capturing the action and this brutal course, it’s going to be a great weekend.”

With visits to Ensenada, MX., Salt Lake City, UT., Wheatland, MO. and San Bernardino, CA. before returning to Chandler for the season finale, Rounds 1&2 represent just the beginning of the 14 round Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Season.

For those fans that can’t see the action live, the Lucas Oil Racing series is broadcasted on CBS, CBS Sports Network, MavTV.and LucasOilRacing.TV.
