Day 5 at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah
Day 5: Wednesday, April 20 at Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah
Today, we joined the guys from MoabJeeper Magazine on Triple Threat. This is three trails in one day: Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, and Gold Bar Rim.
We had a group of about 11 Jeeps, including some JKs, some TJs, one XJ Cherokee, and even a Toyota truck. All of our Jeeps from 4WD held up great. There was no damage, no breakage, nothing. We build some pretty capable rigs. The whole group moved pretty well all day until the very last mile or so. Two JKs that were in our group from Michigan broke. One broke the steering box and the other one broke something in the front end.
This was a great trail to end our wheeling week on. If you ever get the chance to run these trails together, I strongly recommend it. We were on the trail for over nine hours and had sunshine all day! Today we will be working the 4WD and Crawl to Cure Cancer booths at the Spanish Trail Arena for the vendor show. Then we leave for our long drive home Friday night.
