The next morning, we headed out for a road trip to an off-road park where we were exposed to some of the knurliest obstacles we have ever seen. Remember – we play in the mud and sand and the occasional hill climb, so starting out your first run on beyond black diamond trails is a little scary. Being slightly hesitant but secure in our abilities, we stayed towards the rear of the pack to observe what the others were doing in hopes that we would learn a few things.

The 4Wheel Parts Motorsports team was excited to hit the track at the Miller Motorsports Park just outside of Salt Lake City.  Everyone on the team was impressed by the beautiful facility and professional race paddock area.  The team knew there was a disadvantage going into this event because Greg was going to miss half of the practice time in order to catch a flight back home to attend his Dad’s 70th Birthday bash.  Qualifying on Saturday was extremely close between all 15 Pro-2 trucks and the 4Wheel Parts team found itself a disappointing 10th (7/10th of a second from the top spots).
