After far too long sitting at my in-laws’ house with little-to-no progress, the RS is finally resuming its journey that began a year and a half ago. After gathering several estimates to complete my half-built roll cage, I settled on Pierce Motorsports as the shop I’d use to continue my project.

Jim Pierce is an all-around great guy and has tons of experience ranging from SCORE off-road trucks to road race cars to rally cars. Jim offered me fair pricing and is also a NASA Rally Sport scrutineer, which means that upon completion my car will have a NASA Rally Sport logbook. Jim definitely doesn’t mess around when it comes to getting the car done in a timely manner. I dropped the car off on Nov 17, and even with the holiday and tacking on some extras I’ll be getting my car back the week of December 2. He has kept me up to date with daily progress reports and pictures and has been good at making sure I have no surprises headed my way.

As you can see in the pictures, Jim does top-notch work! If you find yourself in need of fabrication work, I highly suggest you contact Jim for a quote. Located in Torrance, Calif., he is conveniently located (at least for me). You can find his contact information on his website.
